Project Description

_Villa Carolina

The historic architecture of Capri finds in this villa one of its most representative of examples. The recent renovation of the residence has not affected the original structure which dates back to the late nineteenth century, but has instead enhanced it.

The villa started as a country cottage, of which it still maintains its charming characteristics.

The building is in fact surrounded by dense typically Mediterranean vegetation. Olives and prickly pears indicate its belonging to the most ancient and original nature of the island of Capri, whose fame has been built precisely on the natural beauty it offers.

The blue majolica flooring and the white colonnades recall the shades of the sea, creating a special continuity of colors between what the eye can find inside and outside the villa.

The entire gulf of Naples is shown in its amazing beauty extending to the Amalfi coast: a spectacle clearly visible from the panoramic terrace on the top floor of the villa.
