Casa Dentice, a true piece of Neapolitan history, is today a place of meeting and culture
Casa Dentice is a true piece of Neapolitan history.
Acquired in 1933 by Count Domenico Dentice di Accadia in Palazzo Schioppa, it was inherited in 1993 by Angelica Dentice, who began its renovation by entrusting it to architect Alberto Sifola di Sammartino.
Over the years, the residence has been a favored meeting place for personalities of cultural and artistic significance. In the grand noble salons, they used to discuss and spend time at lavish receptions, among furnishings of elegant aristocratic taste.
During World War II, it was also the headquarters of the American Armed Forces High Command.
The current owner of Casa Dentice, granddaughter of the previous one, has made the residence a place of meeting and culture, where music and fashion events, social gatherings like Lyons and Rotary meetings, book presentations, and charity evenings take place.
All proceeds are a useful support for the non-profit organization “Progetto Pallonetto,” which helps and gathers disadvantaged youths from foster homes.
