Sanfelice Villa, a splendid 19th-century residence surrounded by greenery, on the Posillipo hill
An English nobleman from the late 1800s, in love with a beautiful young Neapolitan woman, built a villa for her on the Posillipo hill, surrounded by greenery, with a view of Capri, in a breezy and cool place where one could enjoy a particularly pleasant, non-humid, and healthy climate.
This is how Villa Sanfelice was conceived, a villa in Posillipo that recalls a Naples where the streets were still traveled by horses and carriages on a dirt road climbing through the countryside.
In the 1980s, Villa Sanfelice was purchased by the current owners and today opens its doors to a cultured and curious public, welcomed in the splendid setting of this noble residence.
The green of the garden and the blue of the sea on the horizon color the outdoor environment with the most suitable shades to enjoy the tranquility of this cool and pleasant place.
